Reece Pritchard works the hypnotic end of techno, where rolling grooves and a patient, driving low-end do their work by degrees rather than all at once. His sets move like a single long thought, tension wound tight and released with a control that keeps a floor suspended between motion and stillness. Nothing is hurried, nothing wasted, everything bent toward immersion rather than impact. That approach has already carried him from Glasgow to Berlin's institutions, from the HÖR booth to a Tresor Minus+ slot alongside Richie Hawtin. A PLTFRM resident at home, he is quietly being welcomed into the lineage he draws from.
