Chlär

Chlär works three or four decks at once, a former mastering engineer building his sets live from his own raw loops. He plays b2b with Yanamaste so often the pairing feels telepathic, and where Yanamaste keeps the pulse minimal, Chlär stacks the same hypnosis in real time. Nobody makes improvisation sound this controlled.
Chlär - SECTION 2026Philippa Pacho

Philippa Pacho came up in Stockholm's illegal warehouse parties, then held a long Under Bron residency before Berlin, where she runs Phorum Records. She plays the same hypnotic drive as Yanamaste with more muscle underneath, all that force on a short rein. When she played the Intercell x Yanamaste showcase, the room felt like hers.
Philippa Pacho - Boiler Room x Glitch 2025MARRØN

MARRØN gets to the same hypnotic hold as Yanamaste from a completely different place: the Afro-Deep he came up on and the Surinamese Maroon lineage in his name. His grooves move like African hand drums, fast but relentlessly rhythmic, and I love how he holds a six-hour Eerste Communie floor on rhythm alone.
MARRØN - NDYŪKÅ Podcast 2026Alarico
Alarico came up on raw 90s techno in Milan and still builds his sets around it, then started Katana Records to push it to its extreme. He runs the same hypnotic drive as Yanamaste faster and meaner, and gives his grooves a kinky, almost hip-hop swing at full sprint. To me he's the adrenaline pick.
Alarico - RIFT 2026Ignez

Ignez grew up on the Dutch coast and his techno sounds like the tide wore it to the bone, first on his Somov Records, now two EPs deep with Rødhåd. He strips the hypnosis back further than anyone Yanamaste runs with, the groove pulling like an undertow. I think most techno could use that patience.
